On February 2, 2008, a small corn plot at the UOG Yigo Experiment Station was visited to determine the cause of feeding damage to the leaves. At 6:00 p.m. a katydid and an orange cucumber beetle were seen resting on leaves, but there was no indication that they were feeding. During a return visit after dark, at about 9:00 p.m., several Chinese rose beetles were observed feeding on leaves.
